Rats!

She leaves the country for a week, and the Spurs fall apart. Ah well. It's spring. Time for me to think of other things anyway. All this NBA Finals stuff was getting to be a distraction. Grumble, grumble, grumble.

I just found out She is taking me to Bahrain with Her. Doesn't She understand that is really not the climate for me? Heavy sigh. Some days a bear's life is just too much. Maybe I should return to the Arctic...

Game 2, Spurs 95-85

Yup, sleeping in their own beds did a world of good for the Lakers in the effect it had on last night's game. The Lakers didn't have a chance. When they had the ball, San Antonio swarmed them. San Antonio sliced through them like a hot knife through butter, scoring nearly at will.

Game Three on Sunday in LA. I'll have to keep Her in the loop--She's stuck spending the week in Hungary for another meeting.

Game 1, Spurs 88-78

Well, the Lakers did show up, but they couldn't quite hold things together. They threatened, even briefly overtook my guys, but in the end, they did not prevail. It wasn't even close.

That's right, Coach Jackson, once you've been to San Antonio, there's no reason to stay. In fact, if you work things right, you'll only have to come back here one more time this season. See you Wednesday night. Or were you planning on just staying in LA and giving us that one so you don't have to come back? S'OK with us.
