The Final Throes of NBA 2004

We're rapidly approaching the conclusion of the 2004 NBA season. How will the Spurs finish the season out? How they perform on Sunday in LA will play a critical role in the end of the season. I would have hoped it wouldn't come down to the wire like this, but that's just the way the Spurs seem to work.

The Lakers are on a winning streak. Their dream team is healthy, and for the last eleven games, they've been unstoppable. I sincerely hope they encounter a significant speed bump tomorrow. Better yet, I'd prefer a brick wall.
